Terms and conditions for stooze
Business customers | As of 19 October 2026
1. Provider and scope
The provider and contracting party is Maximilian Fixl, Alte Dorfstr. 31, 27299 Langwedel, Germany. Contact: hello@stooze.de, telephone: 04232 3888772. stooze is the product name and is not a separate legal entity.
These terms govern the use of stooze through stooze Web and the native apps. The contractual offering is addressed exclusively to businesses within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB) acting in the course of their commercial or self-employed professional activities when entering into the contract, as well as legal entities under public law and special funds under public law. Contracts with consumers are not offered.
If you act on behalf of a business or organisation, you must be authorised to represent it. The business or organisation you represent is then the contracting party on the customer side. Invited employees may use stooze within their assigned permissions; an invitation does not create a payment obligation of their own.
2. Services and right of use
stooze supports you in recording and managing working and care hours and in creating, managing and transmitting the corresponding records. The agreed scope of services, available features and number of usable seats depend on the selected plan and the service description applicable when the contract is concluded.
For the duration of the user relationship, you receive a non-exclusive right to use stooze within the agreed scope for your own business purposes and through authorised team members. Rights to your data and content remain with their respective rights holders. The provider may process them only insofar as necessary to provide the agreed services or otherwise lawful.
Announced extensions or planned features form part of the agreed services only if expressly agreed. stooze does not replace legal, tax or employment law advice. You determine the requirements for recording, documentation and retention that apply to your use. The provider’s responsibility for stooze functioning as contractually agreed remains unaffected.
3. Registration, access and team management
The information required during registration and booking must be accurate and updated when it changes. Access credentials must be kept confidential and protected against unauthorised access.
You manage your team members’ permissions according to their tasks. Bookings and contractual changes may only be made by persons authorised to do so. A technical role within a team does not replace any required authority to represent the customer.
4. Booking, contract commencement and trial periods
Paid subscriptions are booked through stooze Web at https://app.stooze.de. Paid contracts are initially not concluded through the native apps; existing subscriptions can be used and cancelled there within the available functionality.
Before a binding booking, you are shown, in particular, the plan, scope of services, seats, total price, billing period and term. The contract is concluded when the expressly paid booking is successfully completed and accepted through the booking confirmation. The booked plan begins immediately upon that completion. You receive confirmation by email.
Accepting these terms alone does not create a payment obligation. A trial period expressly offered free of charge ends after its stated duration and does not become a paid subscription without a separate paid booking.
5. Prices, invoices and VAT
The prices displayed and agreed before booking apply. Billing is by invoice for the selected billing period. The agreed payment deadline is stated on the invoice.
The stated prices are final prices. The services are exempt from VAT under the small-business exemption in section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG). VAT is therefore not shown separately on invoices.
Where billing is based on booked seats, the agreed number of seats applies. An unoccupied seat does not reduce the agreed price. Before a paid change, its price and effective date are displayed for your confirmation.
6. Term, renewal and cancellation
You can book a plan with a term of one month or twelve months. The selected term begins when the contract starts. Unless cancelled in time, the one-month plan renews for one further month at a time and the twelve-month plan for a further twelve months at a time.
You can cancel the paid subscription up to and including the last day of the current contractual period, with effect at the end of that period and without an additional notice period. You can use the cancellation function in the app and in stooze Web for this purpose. Timely receipt of the cancellation is decisive. The termination date is displayed during cancellation; cancellation is automatically confirmed by email.
Until the contract ends, the booked services remain available and the agreed fees remain payable. From the end date, no further paid contractual periods arise under the cancelled subscription. Claims that have already arisen remain unaffected. Statutory rights, particularly termination for cause and reimbursement rights, remain unaffected.
7. Transition to the Free plan and account deletion
After the cancelled subscription ends, the account continues on the free Free plan. Its scope of services and usage limits apply, and you are informed about them during cancellation. Features and usable seats may consequently be restricted. Cancelling the paid subscription is not account deletion and does not by itself trigger deletion of account data.
Account deletion is a separate process. It ends access for the affected account and results in deletion of personal data assigned to that account, unless a statutory retention obligation or another lawful basis for continued storage applies. Data belonging to other team members and independently retained organisational data must be distinguished from this. Deleting an individual member account does not automatically terminate the organisation’s contract.
Before deleting an account, save any data and records you need using the available download and export options. Details of processing and deletion, backups and statutory retention obligations are set out in the privacy notice and any data processing agreement concluded.
8. Responsible handling of data and content
You may only record, upload or share data and content that you are authorised to process. This applies in particular to personal data of people receiving care, employee data, documents and signatures. The necessary legal bases, information and permissions must be in place for your specific use.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries. Check generated records for accuracy and completeness before approving or sharing them. Using stooze to distribute unlawful content, gain unauthorised access to other people’s data or impair stooze’s security and functionality is prohibited.
9. Operation, defects and liability
Maintenance, security measures and technical disruptions may temporarily affect availability. Where possible, the provider gives advance notice of planned significant restrictions.
Agreed service obligations and statutory claims in the event of disruptions or defects remain unaffected. The provider’s liability is governed by statutory provisions.
10. Privacy and data processing on behalf of customers
Information about personal data processing and your rights is available in the stooze privacy notice at https://app.stooze.de/datenschutz. Accepting these terms does not constitute blanket consent to additional data processing or advertising. Where separate consent is required, it is obtained separately.
Insofar as the provider processes personal data on behalf of your business or organisation, a separate data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR must be concluded before that processing begins. These terms do not replace such an agreement and do not create a legal basis for processing other people’s personal data.
11. Changes and individual agreements
Changes to agreed prices or contractual terms require a valid legal basis. Merely publishing or technically making a new version of these terms available does not amend existing contracts.
Individual agreements take precedence. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
